Our wood hood designs are inspired by today's trends from designers and clients.

Wood hoods are designed to accommodate most appliance blower units. HAC also offers a line of blowers and liners that will fit all available designs. If a certain blower or liner is being used, we can confirm whether or not it will fit our hood. Customization to accommodate the blower or liner is available.

Do HAC Hoods come standard with a removable panel?

All of our hoods come with the option of incorporating a removable panel.

What wood species are available?

The standard species used on our hoods is either paint grade or maple. Additional species options include quarter sawn white oak, walnut, wormy maple, alder, and more.

Do HAC Hoods come sanded and ready for finishing?

Our hoods arrive unfinished, fully prep sanded, and ready for painting, staining, glazing, and distressing.

How can a customer customize a standard hood design?

Majority of our hoods come with trim packages that can be customized to coordinate with the surrounding kitchen cabinetry. See template
